Marketing Executive - Sydney

With clients across Australia and New Zealand, we’re seeking a savvy and experienced B2B Marketing Executive to join our growing Sydney office. This role will see you running our marketing activities, managing agency relationships, and coming up with creative ideas for content.


We are looking to build on our 27 years of success delivering analytics solutions in the New Zealand market; and continuing to grow our foothold in the Australian market. As part of our services, we collaborate closely with our clients to help them leverage insights and gain competitive advantage. We bring proven, repeatable success to businesses across many industries, through the use of our 100+ analytics solutions; in Australia we offer a more succinct and targeted approach and offer specific solutions primarily aimed at the retail industry. Your role will focus on building on and executing the Australia strategy, and supporting the ongoing New Zealand marketing efforts.


To succeed in this role you will be driven to support the sales and marketing objectives of Datamine by creating and implementing B2B marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and drive growth. Your day-to-day activities will include coordinating multi-channel campaigns, elevating our online presence, supporting with promotion events and owning our CRM system and automated workflows; also engaging with agencies to support the creation and delivery of marketing initiatives.


The marketing executive will turn Datamine’s marketing strategy into action; key responsibilities will include;


Main responsibilities

  • Creation of ideas for content relevant to the target market, and the ability to engage partners to turn ideas into reality.
  • Successfully implement (multi-channel) marketing campaigns from brief to execution
  • Development and Implement new marketing initiatives to help grow brand awareness and drive growth
  • Maintain and optimise our CRM system, Hubspot
  • Creating / optimising / championing marketing processes, guidelines & documentation for best practice
  • Overseeing all channels for executing marketing activity – including written communications, social media, seminars and speaking engagements, internal and external events
  • Design and implement automated email workflows across the customer lifecycle journey
  • Maintain internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
  • Owning Datamine’s digital brand strategy
  • Organise events and brand awareness activities
  • Monitor and optimise ROI across channels and activities
  • Provide regular data-driven insight reports to key business stakeholders


You would fit right in at Datamine if you have:

  • Experience working with Hubspot
  • Sound experience using Google Suite
  • Experience working in or with agencies
  • Digital optimisation experience
  • 4+ years B2B marketing experience
  • A tertiary degree in Marketing, Commerce or similar
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationship both internally and externally
